Nic's Story
I think your partner needs to be kept informed. For me my wife understands everything and my feelings. Then we can work together to help mitigate them/ make life work around them.
Keeping fit and active helps to not put too much fat on down my front. I have learned that hydration is important to reduce hot flushes. I still drink beer and wine but not so much and that helps reduce hot flushes too.
I have a blood test every 6 months to see if the cancer has returned. The weeks between the blood test and the result feels like being on death row. Learning pathways ahead helps a little, but I could do with more information I think.
I have periods of anxiety as described above. I lament the degradation of my previously good sex life.
Yes
I was given no other option, and was told of the risks.
