Radiotherapy

Tips and advice for any bladder or bowel side effects of treatment

Incontinence pants can be very helpful. Low fibre diet takes some getting used to - but works Tamsulosin freed up a great deal of blockage pain Try fibro gel before considering Loperimide. Abiraterone tablet can make you sleepy but also has unpleasant side effects. Take it at 6 then set alarm to take prednisolone after eating at 8

How this treatment impacted my life the most

Obviously large amount of medication and radio routine changes timing. Had to stop sailing - big disappointment

If I had to do it all over again, would I choose the same treatment?

Yes

Why did I give this answer?

So far most of the treatment post biopsy has been humane and non invasive. I did NOT opt for TURP - disadvantages out weighed benefits
