Do you have any tips or advice that may help others support those who are going through treatment, including with any ongoing side effects?

It is a difficult time, the only thing I say to myself is that whatever we are going through is better than the alternative and we soldier on.

Please tell us how their treatment impacted your life the most.

Obviously the sexual side impacted the most, I think mainly the fact that he had the hormone treatment along side the Brachytherapy, (he also had 23 sessions of radiotherapy before the Brachytherapy) He has had Hairy Cell Leukaemia since 2003, which had already impacted our life, so it was a matter of "yet another hurdle to jump"

Thinking about your own wellbeing, what has helped you to cope, and where have you gone to find support? What tips and advice would you give to others?

I have coped quite well over the years, my husband and I are able to talk about issues. A number of people I have spoken to about it just don't understand what an impact it has on partners, so join a partners group if there is one in your area, it will help to talk to others who are going through the same thing.
