Tips and advice for any sexual side effects of treatment

Once the parallel hormone treatment had worn off and I got interested again I found other ways to please my partner not requiring penetration.

Tips and advice for any physical side effects of treatment

Getting the weight off afterwards is hard. The gym rebuilds muscle and a healthy diet helps.

Tips and advice for any mental and emotional side effects of treatment

As more time passes since treatment and it looks to have worked I'm getting happier

How this treatment impacted my life the most

Complete loss of interest in sex which took time to recover. Residual problems with urinary frequency and retention

If I had to do it all over again, would I choose the same treatment?

Yes

Why did I give this answer?

Most friends with PCa have gone for surgery, but several have had problems since, ranging from sexual problems or requiring a permanent catheter up to failure to remove all the cancer and subsequent recurrence. The combination of radiotherapy and hormone therapy I had seems to have completely cured my aggressive Gleason 9 cancer, and with a minimum of residual side effects.
