How this treatment impacted my life the most

I had radiotherapy x 20 for 4 weeks August/September 2020 plus prostap (hormone injections) from October 2019 every 12 weeks until the end of 2021. The radiotherapy was very straightforward, empty bowel, full bladder and you’re good to go. Takes about 5 minutes. The injections caused swelling/lumps in the chest and kill your sex drive as they reduce testosterone levels which the cancer feeds on.

If I had to do it all over again, would I choose the same treatment?

Yes

Why did I give this answer?

It was less intrusive. I had 3 options, radical prostatectomy , brachytherapy plus a bit of radiotherapy , or 38 radiotherapy sessions, reduced to 20 in the wake of Covid.
