Hormone Therapy (injections and relugolix tablets)

How this treatment impacted my life the most

The radical prostatectomy took a while to get over and stopped forever me being able to achieve a natural erection. This pretty much killed my sex life with my wife. The radiotherapy was very unpleasant (33 sessions over 7 weeks) but not particularly painfull. The hormone therapy (2 years) has significantly impacted my strength (particularly in my legs) and balance. It hasalso caused me memory loss and as a result a significant reduction in my confidence levels. These problems are only now beginning to be resolved a year after stopping the hormone therapy injections.

If I had to do it all over again, would I choose the same treatment?

Yes

Why did I give this answer?

I strongly this treatment has saved my life and I am willing to accept the reduction in quality of life in order to extend it significantly.
