Radiotherapy

How this treatment impacted my life the most

With being self employed and having to attend radiotherapy every day was difficult but got through it with early or late appointments

If I had to do it all over again, would I choose the same treatment?

Yes

Why did I give this answer?

It was the only course of treatment I was offered and it worked for a very long time 15 years

Hormone Therapy (tablets)

Tips and advice for any sexual side effects of treatment

It’s not a problem for me because I have no sex drive at all More of a problem for partner Needs to be discussed but we are getting old now and doesn’t seem to be a problem for us

How this treatment impacted my life the most

Having to take tablets same time every day still catchers me out If you go out and forget to bring them with you or you thought you would be back in time can be a real pain

If I had to do it all over again, would I choose the same treatment?

Not sure

Why did I give this answer?

Don’t think I had any choice really was offered chemotherapy instead but was working at the time so the tablets was the best option for me

Hormone Therapy (injections)

How this treatment impacted my life the most

Fatigue doing things like gardening or diy would wipe me out for a couple of hours Being very tired but having disturbed sleep waking up 2 or 3 times a night is very frustrating

If I had to do it all over again, would I choose the same treatment?

Yes

Why did I give this answer?
