Active Surveillance
How this treatment impacted my life the most
I was on active surveillance but I was ‘forgotten ‘ for 18 months during which time the cancer had developed . I was disappointed the system had let me down and tempted to think what if which has caused some anxiety.
If I had to do it all over again, would I choose the same treatment?
Yes
Why did I give this answer?
I was diagnosed with low risk cancer and advised that I would probably die with it rather than because of it so active surveillance was the obvious choice.
