How this treatment impacted my life the most

The treatment had relatively little impact on my life except that the time taken for the radiotherapy meant that for a month a significant part of the day was taken up in travelling to and from the hospital, waiting for the appointment, emptying my bowels and getting the right amount of water into me and actually receiving the radio treatment. This I found rather restricting but I kept telling myself that it was all for my good.

If I had to do it all over again, would I choose the same treatment?

Yes

Why did I give this answer?

Because of my age, it was the only treatment that the hospital would offer me.
