It certainly does affect the penis size, and testicles. For me penis by half, and one testicle .

The hormone injections, are the worst experience of my life. My dreams , my thoughts, how I had to keep correcting my own behavior. Sweats were terrible. Love one minute , hate the next. Had to stop after two years. Of three year treatment. Felt suicidal. At times.

How this treatment impacted my life the most

The brachytherapy was ok, the radio therapy was ok, The hormone injections were something I never thought could ever change my strong will to get better. It drove me into so many different states of mind, sleep was bad, Emotional change . From loving - to angry, and sort of argumentative. Lost a lot of friends.

If I had to do it all over again, would I choose the same treatment?

No

Why did I give this answer?

No , never again hormone injections. Brachytherapy, and radio therapy , was so easy. Comparatively. Expecting the worse, but the treatments were ok. But the hormone injections, had moments ,never wanted to live. Had to discuss with doctor, and stopped immediately.

I tried everything that the urologist offered, it all failed me. I was experiencing blood from my bladder,. I had a cistopcomy, !! Camera down my urethra in 2023, after 6 years,. It was seen I had blood vessels that were protruding in the sides of my bladder. Making the occasional bleed. A friend told me of a treatment from a guru, type of health , person.  And the additive. I took one drop of each in a glass of water every hour for ten hours, a day. For four days. That has totally reversed my bladder problem. I still need to get there quickly, but have not wet myself since I took that treatment. Through the night, for 6 years, up 5-6 times. Since the, treatment. Once, maybe twice, sometimes not at all. This has worked for me. Very happy. The bladder part of the prostate cancer, can play its part in the anxiety, and depression.

It’s always dry orgasms. It is painful. When i take some medication. It doesn’t seem to work until the next day!! I don’t enjoy sex anymore, But still need to exercise , that feeling , although it’s painful on dry orgasm.

I believe the brackotherapy, was not the cause of the results. Here. It was the hormone injections only.

The misunderstanding of it all. When I was directed for brachytherapy, the oncologist stated, when you have had this your done. But after I had 25 radio therapies, And the hormone injections throughout, until I said I could take no more of them.

If I had to do it all over again, would I choose the same treatment?

Why did I give this answer?

I felt like a trial . Rat. There was no real discussions on what happens, what to expect, etc. of course I was eager to have my life saved, And they have it seems. But I have been left with the nagging thought of why did they give me all three treatments. When the brackotherapy uroligist,told me after brackathetapy I was done. ( cooked she said) It seems that the problems I have now, were caused by the radio therapy, causing the bladder wall, problem.
