Sadly, hormone treatment and getting testosterone removed from my system, no longer have interest in sex. Important you discuss this with your partner.

Accept your body will change, however, if you watch your diet can help with weight increase.

How this treatment impacted my life the most

Just finished 10 rounds of chemotherapy, 1 every 21 days. This results in 2 weeks of unwelcome side effects, pain and bowel issues and 1 week of feeling relatively ok, before starting next cycle.

If I had to do it all over again, would I choose the same treatment?

Yes

Why did I give this answer?

Scans and blood samples show PSA undetectable and tumours reduced. Chemotherapy worked. Also on a clinical trial programme, all this gives me a better chance of increasing life expectancy and my quality of life.
