Hormone Therapy (tablets)

Tips and advice for any bladder or bowel side effects of treatment

The hormone tablets were changed to injections late in 2021 to replace the tablets originally prescribed in Portugal where I was living from 2018 to 2021

How this treatment impacted my life the most

No sex, increased physical laziness

If I had to do it all over again, would I choose the same treatment?

Not sure

Why did I give this answer?

I wouldn't know what different treatment would be chosen. In Portugal, surgical removal of the cancer was recommended but, after return to the UK, this was changed to 22 shots of radiotherapy which completed eradicated the cancer and left my PSA consistently at <.01
