Tips and advice for any sexual side effects of treatment

Speak frankly with your partner about the impact on you and they of losing all of your sex drive, and what you can do to keep them happy.

Tips and advice for any physical side effects of treatment

One must exercise as much as possible. Try doing some each day, and build up from maybe only 10 minutes, to an hour. Try to do some weight training or callisthenics.

How this treatment impacted my life the most

Loss of sex drive is a massive issue. In some ways it brings extreme calm and contentedness, but on the other hand, it brings a sense of anxiety about one's partner and their satisfaction, and ability to cope with your apparent, and real, lack of sexual interest.

If I had to do it all over again, would I choose the same treatment?

Yes

Why did I give this answer?

Advanced prostate cancer was given a prognosis of 3 to 8 years, which when you are just 67 at diagnosis, is a shock to the system, and potentially devastating to one's family. If having regular injections and losing your libido is the price to pay for extending that possible 8 years to possibly 15 years or more, it is a price worth paying.
