The hot sweats lasted during hormone treatment and for a little while after. It was no better or worse than any woman going through menopause.

How this treatment impacted my life the most

The radiotherapy lasted only a month ,20 sessions, and I had no problems apart from the increased need to pee for a short while. I put weight on due to the hormone treatment but keeping active helped to keep it in check.

If I had to do it all over again, would I choose the same treatment?
