Hormone Therapy (injections and relugolix tablets)

How this treatment impacted my life the most

6 months Post surgery my urinery continence was very good after around 6 months. I then had 33 sessions of Radiotherapy and 6 months after that my incontinece retunred & I have not recovered. Tbis is the worst part of my life now. Wearing heavy duty pads every day and the worry about leaks which do occur from tiem to time. I was having to get up in the night 3 or 4 times too so sleep was always being broken. I npw use sheaths and a night bag so I dont have to get up. Sex life has ended for now. As Im on hormone therapy too my labido has disapeared. I have a pump but have never got on with it. I have tried injections which are painful but do work but I still leak urine when I move around which isnt great. I am waiting for a sling operation to improve my continence and possible a pump system for erections some time after that, I will wait and see.

If I had to do it all over again, would I choose the same treatment?

Yes

Why did I give this answer?

I think the best solution was to remove the prostate and tumour from my body completely. I ended up having radiotherapy too but understood I couldnt have surgey if the radiotherapy didnt work.
