Radical Prostatectomy (Surgery)

Tips and advice for any sexual side effects of treatment

There are numerous treatments available if sex is important in your life, namely Sildenafil(viagra), and medical equipment. But if sex is very important prosectomy might not be the way to go.

How this treatment impacted my life the most

Incontinence was the worst thing. Over a year later still wearing small pads for slight leakage. But if I go out socialising need to wear large pads to bed. Have severely cut down on socialising. Incontinence is getting better but very slow.

If I had to do it all over again, would I choose the same treatment?

Not sure

Why did I give this answer?

Think at my age I did the right thing. Better wet than Dead. And I know the Cancer is out my body, But keep seeing articles on Facebook about new Prostate Cancer treatment without surgery.
