Radical Prostatectomy (Surgery)

Tips and advice for any sexual side effects of treatment

Seek out help. You need to pursue options. If you sit back they won’t come to you. There are treatments and I am still trying but you have to chase.

How this treatment impacted my life the most

Sexually terrible. No possibility of sexual relations from the operation day.

If I had to do it all over again, would I choose the same treatment?

Not sure

Why did I give this answer?

I investigated thoroughly the various treatments available and decided that from a psychological viewpoint I would feel much better waking up daily without wondering Hythe prostate was doing. I did not want radiotherapy with all the side effects and preferred to evict the squatter before it took over the whole house! However with the sexual loss and recent rising in psa numbers I I have wondered if closer examination of more targeted interventions which were not available on the NHS might have been an option.
