The biggest impact was total relief from urinary retention / urgency / bladder pain and very frequent need to urinate. This had been making my life intolerable and was caused by prostate hyperplasia.

I didn't want to suffer from prostate cancer like my father had, but chose to have my prostate removed rather than try other treatments as it could eliminate my urinary incontinence problems.
