Tips and advice for any sexual side effects of treatment

Accept that you may be impotent after treatment. At my age it wasn't so bad as I'd already had my family. Keep remembering that getting rid of the cancer is better than dying from it. If these side-effects apply - it's because you are still alive.

Tips and advice for any physical side effects of treatment

Many of these treatments create these side effects - they are normal factors.

Tips and advice for any mental and emotional side effects of treatment

You will not be the same as before but you are still here, to enjoy your family and friends in whatever way you can - be it an old or new experience.

How this treatment impacted my life the most

My prostatectomy spread to the prostate floor. The subsequent radiotherapy and hormone therapy have greatly affected my life. I have both urinary and faecal incontinence and I am total impotent. I believe that the hormone therapy has left me prone to emotional states that I did not experience previously.

If I had to do it all over again, would I choose the same treatment?

Yes

Why did I give this answer?

Because the prostatectomy was the greatest guarantee of removing all evidence of the cancer.
