Focal Therapy

Tips and advice for any sexual side effects of treatment

Well, my loss of libido was temporary, about 6 months.

How this treatment impacted my life the most

Can't say that it did really. I was relieved that my cancer was treated effectively although I am still monitored. As far as I know, my cancer is unlikely to develop to the point where further treatment is required.

If I had to do it all over again, would I choose the same treatment?

Yes

Why did I give this answer?

I'm baffled that HIFU is not a more mainstream treatment. Based on my experience, it was effective, relatively free from any undesirable side effects, and quick. I was only in the hospital overnight and pretty much fully recovered within a week or so.
