Not really, my hot sweats came from the hormone injection that I had whilst waiting for my treatment, I know that this will subside once the hormone is out of my system

Talk to the person or people that are close to you, they are going through it with you and will offer help and support that you will need

How this treatment impacted my life the most

My treatment impacted on my toilet habits, at times not being to be able to control my wee and leaking, at times feeling embarrassed, even though I wear a pad. But the fact that I talk about it really does help not only with my partner who has been amazing, but I can talk about it at work, which I believe helps other guys of a similar age to talk about there lives and worries

If I had to do it all over again, would I choose the same treatment?

Yes

Why did I give this answer?

My diagnosis was made very early, in fact I visited my doctor about something completely unrelated, and I just happened to mention that I was getting up for a wee during the night, he added checking my PSA level to my already booked Blood test. A few stages later when I had a positive for my prostate cancer, I opted for the prostatectomy, as I was young enough to recover quickly from this procedure. It also gives me the option, if needed at a later date to other treatments if I should ever get cancer again
