Do you have any tips or advice that may help others support those who are going through treatment, including with any ongoing side effects?

Talk to close friends. Talk to your partner and reassure them. Most of all ensure you have an outlet. There are plenty of support networks for the men. None for the partners. Men, you are still men, not being able to have sex is a major blow, but it doesn’t make you any less of a man. Get over that and treat your partner kindly.

Please tell us how their treatment impacted your life the most.

I was constantly the support, a positive person. Their moods, low self esteem brought me down.

Thinking about your own wellbeing, what has helped you to cope, and where have you gone to find support? What tips and advice would you give to others?

Having continuity. Going to work, talking to close friends.
