HIFU was recommended but did not work as my cancer returned after two years and I then subsequently had to have an open Radical Prostatectomy.

Incontinence, although only slight at the moment affects going out and the need to reduce the amount of social drinking I can do.

Why did I give this answer?

Because previous HIFU procedure failed to treat the cancer affectively and three years later it had returned, to resolve the problem I had to undergo very difficult radical surgery (Prostatectomy), difficult due to the small amount of prostate tissue that remained.
